In steam boilers, it is recommended to always avoid introducing low-temperature water into the boiler to prevent thermal shock. In addition to reducing the efficiency and steaming capacity of the boiler, this practice also reduces the life of the pipes and furnaces due to the intermittent contact of cold water with hot heat transfer surfaces. Also, since oxygen dissolved in water is always a corrosive factor on heat transfer surfaces in boilers, it is recommended to reduce this oxygen by increasing the temperature of the water entering the boiler.
