Description

A coiled source is the most common method for producing hot water for consumption and storing water. In a coiled source, hot water or steam produced by the boiler circulates inside a heating coil, which is usually made up of several branches of copper return pipes, and after exchanging heat with the walls of the copper pipes, it exits the coil. The heat exchange causes the copper pipe to heat up and ultimately heats the cold water outside the pipe that surrounds it.

The coiled source is made of galvanized sheet metal, but if black sheet metal is used (higher pressures), the inside of the source is covered with epoxy. The thickness of the steel sheet used in the sources is also calculated based on the working pressure of the device, the working temperature, and the water corrosion coefficient based on the pressure vessel standard. These tanks are used in two types: vertical and horizontal, depending on their installation location.
